CONSULTATION CLOSED. Alford Town Council has developed a Neighbourhood Plan in compliance with the requirements of the National Planning Policy Framework, which was produced by the Department for Communities and Local Government. This stage of the development of the Neighbourhood Plan is called Regulation 14 Consultation and precedes a government Inspector deciding whether the plan is satisfactory i.e. compliant with statutory requirements. Once the Inspector is satisfied with the plan it will be offered to the community for its decision by voting in a referendum. The Regulation 14 consultation will run from 15th January until 25th February. In that period the Neighbourhood Plan and its accompanying documents are available here for your perusal online, together with a feedback form for your comments, and also at Alford Focal Point, the community library Tuesdays 10.00am - 2.00pm, Fridays 10.00am - 6.00pm & Saturdays 10.00am - 1.00pm. Alternatively, these documents will be available for scrutiny at a drop-in public consultation event which has been arranged in Alford Corn Exchange on Friday19th January 2018 between 10.00am and 7.00pm. Your feedback is valued and will be accepted at any time during the consultation period.
