Cheryllyn Humphreys

I retired to Algarkirk in 2013 from Belgium where I had lived and worked for over 20 years; I now live in Washdike Road with my son.

As a member of St Peter and St Paul's Church I soon became involved in the AMPG project to conserve and adapt the church and I became Churchwarden when Fr Gary left for his new appointment.

As a keen member of the local WI and Algarkirk's 'Crafty Coffee and Cake' club, I enjoy both the change to try out new activities and the social side of our meetings.  Rural isolation is a big problem for communities such as ours and I am eager to support and promote organisations that help combat it.

This is my first term on the Parish Council where I also serve on the playing field committee.  I am also a member of the Lincolnshire NHS Council of Governors.
