Royal Oak

Royal Oak Public House

The Royal Oak was built in the 16th Century as an inn and is still a traditional village pub, with the warm, friendly and cosy atmosphere of its rural village setting.

It stands next door to the former Blacksmiths Forge in Royal Oak Lane, Aubourn. There was a public house on this`site in 1828 and it was called 'The Plough', however in 1870 the name was changed to 'The Royal Oak'.

Rob and Rachael invite you to dine from the extensive menu at lunchtimes and evenings offering a wide range of cuisine including a good choice of vegetarian and gluten free options.

Being a member of CAMRA ensures that there is a good choice of five, well-kept ales to quench your thirst. Especially welcome if you have taken advantage of the numerous footpaths and bridle-ways that criss-cross the surrounding countryside.
