The Parish Council

Billingborough Parish Council is made up of 9 councillors who meet on alternate months to make decisions on the work and direction of the Council.

The Parish Council is an elected body, with elections [usually] held every four years: 2011, 2015, 2019.

Through its councillors, the Council is responsible to the Billingborough Community.

Funding for the Parish Council comes from the Precept, which is collected through each householder’s Council Tax.

In addition, a further income is generated from renting out land owned by the Council.

Although the full Council is involved in all decisions, the lead on the various roles and responsibilities of the Parish Council are shared between its members.
