Welcome to the Butterwick Parish Council website

Butterwick is situated 4 miles southeast of Boston off the main A52 road to Skegness and goes all the way to the Wash, with rich fertile agricultural land.  The adult population of Butterwick is 1150.

The main features of the village are the School (Pinchbeck Endowed School) which has history dating back to 1665; a General Store and Post Office; a Fish & Chip Shop; The Five Bells Public House; Village Hall and the Butterwick Park.  The Anglican Parish Church is dedicated to St Andrew and was the first in the country in 1998 to be floodlit with a grant from the New Church Floodlighting Trust.

Butterwick Parish Council has seven councillors and the council meet monthly on a Tuesday evening at the Village Hall.  In 1995 the Council celebrated its centenary.  The Parish Council is elected to serve the residents of the village and welcomes ideas and suggestions from the local community.
