Carlby  Neighbourhood Development Plan

Consultation Draft

The proposed Carlby Neighbourhood Development Plan, prepared by the Parish Council following extensive local consultation, has been published by South Kesteven District Council. The Plan, and its supporting documentation, can be inspected at the SKDC website

                                http://www.southkesteven.gov.uk/carlbyplan

or at Carlby Village Hall, High Street, Carlby, Stamford, Lincs. PE9 4LX (between the hours of 10am and 4 pm, 7 days a week on making an appointment through the clerk: clerkcarlby@gmail.com); or at the SKDC office in Grantham.

Comments are invited by SKDC and can be made up to 8 June.

Once this consultation period has closed, South Kesteven District Council will appoint a qualified, independent person to conduct an examination of the draft Neighbourhood Plan. All comments received as part of this consultation will be forwarded, with the Neighbourhood Plan documents, to the examiner for their consideration.

The examiner will produce a report setting out his/her findings and recommendations. The report must recommend that the draft plan is submitted to a referendum, that the plan is modified and then submitted to a referendum, or that the plan proposal is refused.

South Kesteven District Council will then consider the report and decide whether it is satisfied with the examiner's recommendations. The Council will publicise its decision on whether or not the plan will be submitted to a referendum, with or without modifications.
