  • The Neighbourhood Plan is a document produced on behalf of the Parish Council that will add a local dimension to the assessment of planning applications. It allows local people to have a say on the type and style of development within the village and once accepted will become a formal part of the planning system.
  • The plan has been prepared building on the earlier work of the CW 2020 community led plan and has involved significant consultation with residents. This is an important stage in the adoption of the Neighbourhood Plan which will go to referendum later in the year, if at that stage it is accept it will become law and hold weight in any planning applications relevant to our village. There is a requirement for a majority acceptance only but the greater the turnout the more weight the plan will be given.
