Coronation Festival Picnic

A Coronation Picnic will take place at Coleby Village Hall on Sunday 2nd June 2013 at 2pm to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation. Join the fun, bring along your family and friends and your drinks and picnic for a fun afternoon.

Coleby Gardening Club

Held on the fourth Tuesday of every month. 7.30 at Coleby Village Hall, unless otherwise stated. Items for sale at some meetings. Annual subscriptions are £10 and guests pay £2 per visit.

The programme is as follows:

28th May - Steve Lovall - Water as a Garden Feature
25th Jun - Club visit to Norwell Nurseries
23rd Jul - (AGM) Amy Claridge - Cooking demonstration using members home grown produce
24th Sept ~ Graham Nichols, Master Gardener - Growing fruit and veg
22nd Oct ~ Mark Schofield - Gardening with wildflowers
26th Nov ~ Cliff Knowles - Garden Heritage

New Library
The first coffee and book morning that took place at the village hall on the 9th January was a great success and so has been repeated on a regular basis. The next coffee and book morning will be on the 12th June at 10.30 in the village hall. There will be a coffee and book get together evey 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Stretch and Relax Classes

Stretch and Relax Class - held at Coleby Village Hall Wednesdays 8-8.45.  See attachment under Parish News for more details.

Coleby Annual Harvest Ball

The Ball will take place on Saturday the 21st September 2013. Tickets will be on sale from May and a letter has been sent inviting request for tables. Please book yours early as they are selling fast and you wouldn't want to miss out on a great night!

Car Boot Sales:

These are held on the first Sunday of every month from April to October, apart from July's sale which is held on the last Sunday in June to avoid clashing with the Waddington Airshow.  They are on the playing fields by the village hall. For further details, please contact Renee on 01522 810608.

Gates open at 7.30am.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on the playing field (except guide dogs)

Sunday 26th May Parish Communion 11am

Sunday 2nd June 6pm Songs of Praise

Summer Garden Party at The Old Rectory, Rectory Road, Coleby Sunday 14th July 2013 - live music. Bring your own picnic and seating.

Sunday 3rd November Craft Fayre in aid of church funds from 10.30 am until 4pm at the Village Hall Coleby.

Parish Council Meeting

The AGM of the Parish Council will be on the 14th May 2013 at 7.00 pm at the Village Hall. All welcome

Mums and Tots:  

This is a chance to meet other mums (and dads!) and let the children enjoy playing together with a wide range of toys and activities.  It costs £1.50 which includes a drink and biscuit for the children and tea/coffee for the parent.  It is held every Friday, during term time, from 10.00 - 11.30 at Coleby Village Hall. Everyone is very welcome!
