  • Emergency Services Exercise

    Emergency services to be tested in major incident exercise at Waddington A major incident will be staged in Waddington on 21st and 22nd May as part of Exercise Georgiana to test the plans of Lincolnshire County Council, emergency services and other public sector organisations for dealing with emergencies in Lincolnshire. Lincolnshire Resilience Forum The exercise, to be held at Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue’s Waddington Training Facility, just off the A15, will involve Lincolnshire Police, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, East Midlands Ambulance Service, local authorities, the Environment Agency and health agencies along with voluntary and private agencies. The exercise is intended to test the county’s personnel and systems of contingencies in coping, containing and resolving a major incident. Disruption to the public will be kept to a minimum. Drivers are likely to see an increase in volume of emergency vehicles but there is no cause for alarm. The exercise is expected to last two days and run between 8am and 9pm.

    Cereals is coming to Boothby Graffoe on the12th and 13th June and there will be road closures and changes that may affect you. Please see the letter and map to check your routes on these dates

  • Parish Councillor Vacancy

    Cllr Kevin Harrowing has resigned his position on the Parish Council and we take the opportunity to thank him for his hard work on behalf of the parish. This leaves a vacancy on the parish council - please see the attached notice.

  • The Queen's Jubilee - A Memorial

    As you will be aware the Parish Council felt that it is appropriate to mark the Queen's Jubilee with a permanent memorial in the village. The letter sent to residents resulted in a new notice board being the favoured option and plans are afoot with design and ideas for this. Watch this space for more updates.

  • The Tempest Arms

    We have new Landlords at the Tempest and we are delighted to welcome them to the village. The pub is now open everyday with a choice of beers and refreshments and on occassions live music. The pub will be serving food with effect from Wednesday 15th May 2013. Please support Derek and Tracey.

  • The Bell

    The Bell has recently been refurbished and Head Chef Pau Vidic and his team provide a warm welcome and great food at this village venue. Opening times are: Wednesday - Saturday - 5:30pm - 11pm Early Bird Weds - Thurs - 5:30pm - 7pm Early Bird Friday - 5:30pm - 6:30pm Fri & Sat Lunch - noon - 1:45pm Sunday Lunch - noon - 2:30pm

  • Dog Fouling

    We have had a large number of complaints about the amount of dog poo along the cliff edge walk to Boothby. Please can all dog owners be responsible and "Bag It and Bin It". There is a dog waste bin at the entrance to the quarry off Dovecote Lane. Please, think about all the other users of this path, including small children who don't necessarily stay on the exact footpath, before you leave your dog's mess for someone else to walk in. Thank you for your consideration.

  • Coleby Gardening Club

    Held on the fourth Tuesday of every month. 7.30 at Coleby Village Hall, unless otherwise stated. Items for sale at some meetings. Only £10.00 for annual membership and £2 per meeting for guests.
