NOTICE OF  ANNUAL COUNCIL MEETING

You are hereby summoned to a meeting of the above named Council which will be held VIA ZOOM; 7pm log for log in details please contact the clerk via email coningsbytowncouncil@gmail.com the password and codes will be sent by return.

Public and Press are welcome to attend.

Fifteen minutes are allocated if needed prior to official meeting; for candidates to introduce themselves members of the public to ask questions or make short statements to Council.

1.               To accept nominations and elect  Chairman, sign declaration of acceptance of office

2.               To accept and elect other officers as required, Vice Chair,

3.               Apologies for absence and reasons given

4.               Declarations of interest & requests for dispensations

To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011

5.               TO CONSIDER Co-option of Councillor, two applications, applications with Cllrs candidates both wish to attend Zoom meeting.  Decision will be made in closed session. Candidates will be notified immediately following the end of meeting via email

6.                To consider the draft notes of the meeting held on 30th April 2020:- Resolution to adopt as minutes.

7.               PlanningS/035/00593/20 – 67 Park Lane, Full permission, extension to front of property. S/035/00527/20 – 25 Milson Close, Full Permission, ground floor bedroom and shower room. S/035/00515/20 – 23 Cheviot Crescent, to provide single storey garden room to rear of existing property, (supported)

8.               Presentation of accounts, receive internal auditors report, to consider the annual governance statement and accounts for audit.  All documents with Cllrs prior to the meeting.

9.               Finances - to approve future and retrospective payments and note income received by Council as listed May 2020 with Councillors including current balances at bank.

10.            Clerks report – Office carpet is being fitted on Tuesday 9th June, TRO for Remembrance Day Parade applied for. No date set for return to work in office, estimating late June early July.

 




 


 

 Council request to move into closed session only elected members to remain online

  Exclusion of the public for Part 2 under Section 100(a)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public beexcluded from the meeting for the following items on the grounds that, if they were present,

there could be disclosed to them exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part 1 of

Schedule 12A to the Act (as amended).
