Nigel Marshall (Chairman – 2015) (Parish Council Representative on the Danny Flear Community Centre/Playing Field Committee)
I am a Vegetable Farmer, aged 56 years, on the family farm (100 years old.  I am married to Barbara with 3 daughters, 1 son and 3 grandsons.  I am interested in all things rural, including history.  I have served on the Parish Council for a number of years and also on the Danny Flear Community Centre committee.  (Elected chairman 2014)

Judith Godwin (Vice-Chairman – 2015)
I have lived in or near Freiston village since 1990 and I work for a farming company near Horncastle.  (Elected vice-chairman 2014)

Peter Bedford
I was born in Freiston and educated at Butterwick Pinchbeck Endowed School.  I have been a Parish and Boston Borough Councillor since 1991 representing the Coastal Ward as a Conservative.  I represent the Borough on many outside bodies, the Black Sluice IDB, Witham Fourth IDB.  I am Heritage Champion and sit on Lincolnshire Heritage and also English Heritage, East Midlands Councils, Local Government Association, District Councils Network to name just a few.  I have been married to my wife Zita for 44 years; we have a son James, daughter-in-law Estelle and granddaughter Gabriella.  I also represented the Coastal Ward at Lincolnshire County Council from 2006-2013, getting to the position of county chairman in 2010-2011.  I was Mayor of Boston 2008-2009 and currently I am Leader of the Council; a very demanding and time consuming position.  Outside of the Council I am a lifelong supporter of Boston United, enjoy gardening, antique fairs, collecting Boston and Freiston Crested Ware.  I am always available to try to help all that I can.

Bridgett Posey
I have served on Freiston Parish Council for over 20 years.  I have lived in Freiston since 1983.  I am married and have 2 grown up daughters.  I am a Director of my family’s onion pre-pack business, which is based in Moulton near Spalding.

Roy Pearson (Highways  Representative)

I was born in Freiston and have lived here all my life, Church Road, Butterwick Road and now retired to Haltoft End in 2012.  I have a daughter Debby and a son Shaun, daughter-in-law Paula and four grown-up grandchildren.  I became a councillor in 1998.

John Tillson
I have been a councillor for about 10 years.  I grow and market vegetables for a living on our family farm near the A52.  I have been married to Margaret for 32 years and have two daughters.  Both myself and Margaret are volunteers at Blackfriars Theatre in Boston.

Simon Pearson

Freiston is my family home, I went to Butterwick primary school and was brought up at White Loaf Hall. I studied at, and eventually became a Lecturer in Horticulture at The University of Reading. After Reading. I worked for Marks and Spencer plc in London as a produce technologist, procuring cut flowers from a range of countries around the World. I returned to Freiston, my favourite place, in 2005. I am the secretary of the PCC of St James’ Church, Freiston and a trustee of the Freiston Poor Estate. I am passionate about local history, and am working on a significant Heritage Lottery bid to conserve the church and explore our local archaeology.

Kathleen Rackham

My husband and I moved to Freiston in 2013 for me to become the sub-post mistress having lived abroad for several years.  The village has made us very welcome and we already feel very much a part of the community.  We have 2 grown-up daughters and a granddaughter.  I am a director of a software company and previously I have worked in IT and in the financial services industry.
