PARISH MEETING
The 2010 Annual Parish Meeting was held on Tuesday 25th May in the Village Hall. The Meeting was able to see the excellent progress being made in refurbishing the Village Hall, and expressed its appreciation of the efforts of the Village Hall Committee. The meeting received the usual reports (from the Parish Council, the Village Hall Management Committee and our District and County Councillors). The draft minutes may be found below.
The Annual Parish Meeting is organised by the Parish Council, and provides an opportunity for all residents of the village (and wider parish) to consider issues of concern to the parish. The Council can also organise special meetings to consider particular topics (as it did in 2006 in connection with the demolition of the Carlby Road Railway Bridge and the traffic through the village and on 8 April 2008 about sewerage).
