IMPORTANT NOTICE: PUBLIC CONSULTATION SATURDAY 28TH APRIL 2012 - NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN If you would like to talk to someone about the Neighbourhood Plan there is a public consultation to be held on Saturday 28th April 2012 in the Council Offices, Peppercorn Walk, Holton-le-Clay. Residents can drop in any time between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon, where the District Council and Parish Council Steering Group will be in attendance. All households should have received a Neighbourhood Plan questionnaire to complete by 25th May.
ANNUAL PARISH MEETING – MONDAY 21ST MAY 2012
Guest speakers are a representative from the Lincolnshire Library Service to give information on the Lincolnshire County Static Library Review and ELDC Street Scene to give an annual update on the Street cleaning teams. The Annual Council Report and some community organisation updates. All parishioners are welcome.
MOVE OF THE COUNCIL OFFICES The new Council Offices will be relocated to the rear of the former Etherington Arms PH (Village Hall) on Friday 25th May 2012. The Clerk to the Council and the monthly ELDC Customer Services will be open to the public from Monday 28th May 2012.
DRAFT COMMUNITY EMERGENCY PLAN – QUESTIONNAIRE To finalise the plan we need your help! If you can help with contact numbers and resource requirements to support the local community in a broad range of crises please complete the questionnaire, that was included in last month’s magazine, and return to the Council Offices in Peppercorn Walk. Details to be included in the plan; Vulnerable People, Medical and First Aid, Equipment, Transport, Emergency Accommodation, Privately-Owned Generators, Plant and Clearance Equipment and facilities for the Emergency Services. DOGS FOULING – Anyone who witnesses dog fouling that they report it to the ELDC on 01507 601111 and ask for Dog Warden or text DOG to 07781481328. Dog holders are to be responsible and clean up after their pets. This includes all areas of the village in particular 8 Acres Playing Field, the pavements, walkways and the former railway line. Dog Warden Patrols are now in place to try and catch the offenders.

Reminder– if you do not clean up after your dog, you could incur a £75.00 on the spot fine with a maximum penalty of £1000.00.
INTERCONNECT51 STAGECOACH BUSES from 2nd April 2012 a new bus timetable will see through buses between Grimsby and Louth running hourly instead of half hourly. Short intermediate journeys will run between Grimsby and Holton-le-Clay to maintain the village’s current half hourly service in both directions.
New bus time tables are available from the Council Offices.

BULKY ITEMS OF WASTE
If you need to dispose of bulky items of household waste, i.e. refrigerators, freezers, cookers, beds, etc., please contact East Lindsey District Council on 01507 601111 to arrange collection. The fee is £15.00 for up to 4 items.
DATE OF NEXT MEETING FULL COUNCIL MEETINGS
The next two Full Council Meetings will be on 14th May (Annual Council) and 18th June 2012. All planning applications can be viewed at 7.15 pm. prior to the meetings.
The Annual Parish Meeting is on Monday 21st May 2012. All parishioners are welcome.
Street Lighting
The attached document is a copy of an email sent to the clerk by Lincolnshire County Council. This was a response to the multiple reports of street lighting in the village that are in need of repair.
The big light switch off.
Holton Le Clay Parish Council has been made aware that the big ‘light switch off’ is now underway. Residents will begin to notice that the lights in the village will be switched off from midnight until 6am – although initially times may vary a little. If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding the transformation they are to contact Lincolnshire County Council on 01522 782070.
