NEW COUNCIL OFFICES The new Council Offices are now located to the rear of the former Etherington Arms PH (Village Hall) on Pinfold Lane.  The Parish Council Opening times are listed at the What? Where? When? section of magazine.

NEW INTERCONNECT 51 BUS TIMETABLE FROM 23 JULY 2012    Stagecoach have apologised for the problems since their change in April due to a diversion to void the parking problems on Mercer Row, Louth.  It had hoped this would improve the reliability, not made it worse.  Good news!  Stagecoach are changing again the timetable to provide more time for the Louth journey and to enable Tetney to be included in the network - Grimsby to Louth (6 times), Louth to Grimsby (4 times).                 

WALL OF REMEMBRANCE is held in the Holton-le-Clay Cemetery.  Please contact the Clerk to the Council on 01472 825467 for any enquiries to have a plaque erected.

HEDGES AND TREES – It is an offence to let your hedges and trees encroach onto Public Footpaths and Rights of Way.  Offenders leave themselves open to prosecution, compensation for damage to Pedestrians, and the cost of having trees and hedges cut back by the local authorities.  Parishioners are therefore kindly requested to check for any overhanging hedges and trees from their properties and arrange for them to be cut back.  

GRASS VERGES 

Car owners/drivers are requested to not park on the grass verges but to use their driveways whenever possible or on the road.

AMENITY GRASS CUTTING                                                                                                                

Grass cutting and strimming will start the week beginning W/C 6th and 20th August 2012.  Please keep all verges clear on these dates.

EAST LINDSEY DISTRICT COUNCIL FACILITIES DAY

The dates of the forthcoming ELDC Facilities Day are Wednesday 8th August 2012 and 12th September 2012. 9.00 am-1.00 pm and 2.00 pm-4.00 pm.  The District Council have agreed to continue with the services in Holton-le-Clay and apologise for the inconvenience caused with the closure in June 2012.

EAST LINDSEY DISTRICT COUNCIL WARD SURGERY – 3rd WEDS                                                      There is a change in the surgery schedule from a 2nd to the 3rd Wednesday of each month.  The dates of your local ELDC Councillors’ surgery at the Parish Offices are

BULKY ITEMS OF WASTE

If you need to dispose of bulky items of household waste, i.e. refrigerators, freezers, cookers, beds, etc., please contact East Lindsey District Council on 01507 601111 to arrange collection.  The fee is £15.00 for up to 4 items.

DOGS FOULING – Anyone who witnesses dog fouling that they report it to the ELDC on 01507 601111 and ask for Dog Warden or text DOG to 07781481328

DOGS – NO DOGS ALLOWED IN JUNIOR PLAYING FIELDS

HORSES – NO HORSES ALLOWED ON THE 8 ACRES PLAYING FIELD

There is no meeting in August due to Recess.

The next two Full Council Meetings will be on 17th September 2012 and 15th October 2012.  All planning applications can be viewed at 6.45 pm. prior to the meetings.  All parishioners are welcome.
