HAVE A SAY ON THE FUTURE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT IN HOLTON-LE-CLAY - PUBLIC MEETING IN THE COUNCIL OFFICES MEETING ROOM ON PINFOLD LANE - SATURDAY 23RD FEBRUARY 2013 10.00 AM TO MIDDAY
The Holton-le-Clay settlement is carrying out a Neighbourhood Plan (compiled by a Steering Group) based on the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment by 28 February 2013. Further details are held on the ELDC and Parish Council website. An area map is held on the Notice Boards and there will be displays at a Public meeting followed by a referendum. All households are requested to support this consultation over a 5, 10 and 15 year development plan of the village and the Neighbourhood Plan. Total estimated housing for Holton-le-Clay 869.
ENGLISH NATIONAL CONCESSIONARY TRAVEL SCHEME – BUS PASSES The majority of passes are due to expire in March and April 2013 and given the high volume of passes the County Council are urging all Lincolnshire pass holders to renew early. Forms are available from Libraries, District Council Offices, Parish Council Office and downloadable from the web www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/concessionaryfares.

PARISH COUNCIL VACANCIES – There are two vacancies on the council for a Parish Councillor. This is a voluntary role. For further information please contact the Clerk to the Council on 01472 825467 or visit the Council Offices by end of January 2013.
GRASS VERGES
Car owners/drivers are requested to not park on the grass verges but to use their driveways whenever possible or on the road.
TURNING ROUNDABOUTS
Residents are kindly requested to use the allocated parking bays instead of parking around the turning roundabouts. The recycling Lorries drivers have to mount the roundabout to get pass the stationary vehicles and therefore causing damage to the grass and safety to the driver.
AMENITY GRASS CUTTING
Next cut and strim commences in March 2013.
DATE OF NEXT FULL COUNCIL MEETINGS – 7.00 PM
The next two Full Council meetings will be on Monday 18th February 2013 and Monday 18th March 2013. All planning applications can be viewed at 6.45 pm prior to the meetings. Parishioners are welcome to attend all Council meetings.

Details of the 2013 weekly collections are now held on the ELDC website. If you would like a copy of the collection timetable you can ring the ELDC Customer Services on 01507 601111 to request one.

The dates of the forthcoming ELDC Facilities Day are Wednesday 13th February 2013 and 13th March 2013. 9.00 am-1.00 pm and 2.00 pm-4.00 pm.
BULKY ITEMS OF WASTE
If you need to dispose of bulky items of household waste, i.e. refrigerators, freezers, cookers, beds, etc., please contact East Lindsey District Council on 01507 601111 to arrange collection. The fee is £15.00 for up to 4 items.

Street Lighting
The attached document is a copy of an email sent to the clerk by Lincolnshire County Council. This was a response to the multiple reports of street lighting in the village that are in need of repair.
The big light switch off.
Holton Le Clay Parish Council has been made aware that the big ‘light switch off’ is now underway. Residents will begin to notice that the lights in the village will be switched off from midnight until 6am – although initially times may vary a little. If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding the transformation they are to contact Lincolnshire County Council on 01522 782070.
