GET INVOLVED new Neighbourhood Development Plan in due course – a questionnaire will be sent to all households.                                                                                                                        

ENGLISH NATIONAL CONCESSIONARY TRAVEL SCHEME –  BUS PASSES The majority of passes are due to expire in March and April 2013 and given the high volume of passes the County Council are urging all Lincolnshire pass holders to renew early.  Forms are available from Libraries, District Council Offices, Parish Council Office and downloadable from the web www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/concessionaryfares.

WALL OF REMEMBRANCE is held in the Holton-le-Clay Cemetery.  Please contract the Clerk to the Council on 01472 825467 for any enquiries to have a plaque erected.

DOG FOULING – Anyone who witnesses dog fouling is requested to report it to the ELDC on 01507 601111 and ask for Dog Warden or text DOG to 07781481328.  It there are no issues reported to ELDC then the Dog Wardens would do fewer visits to the village - to try and catch the offenders.

NO DOGS – THE JUNIOR PLAYING FIELD IS THE CHILDREN’S VILLAGE PLAYGROUND.  No dogs are to be taken into the area.

NO HORSES – to be ridden on the 8 Acres Playing field and adjacent footpaths. 

AMENITY GRASS CUTTING       

Next cut and strim - week commencing 11th and 25th March 2013.

HEDGES AND TREES – It is an offence to let your hedges and trees encroach onto Public Footpaths and Rights of Way.  Parishioners are therefore kindly requested to check for any overhanging hedges and trees from their properties and arrange for them to be cut back.

DATE OF NEXT FULL COUNCIL MEETINGS – 7.00 PM

The next two Full Council meetings will be on Monday 18th March 2013 and Monday 15th April 2013.  All planning applications can be viewed at 6.45 pm prior to the meetings.  Parishioners are welcome to attend all Council meetings.

PARISH COUNCIL FINANCES:  15 Year Loan £100,000.00 at 4.45% interest - commenced 20 September 2011.  (part payment for purchase of new Village Hall).

Annual repayments £9,208.62.  Outstanding balance:  ££92,702.07.

EAST LINDSEY DISTRICT COUNCIL – WASTE COLLECTION

Details of the 2013 weekly collections are now held on the ELDC website.  If you would like a copy of the collection timetable you can ring the ELDC Customer Services on 01507 601111 to request one.                                                                

Carrying on with the normal weekly cycle, the green waste bin collection will be incorporated into the timetable in March 2013. 

Monday 18th March 2013– recycling bin and green waste bin

Monday 25th March 2013 – green waste bin and domestic waste bin.    

EAST LINDSEY DISTRICT COUNCIL FACILITIES DAY

The dates of the forthcoming ELDC Facilities Day are 13th March 2013 and 10th April 2013.  9.00 am-1.00 pm and 2.00 pm-4.00 pm

BULKY ITEMS OF WASTE

If you need to dispose of bulky items of household waste, i.e. refrigerators, freezers, cookers, beds, etc., please contact East Lindsey District Council on 01507 601111 to arrange collection.  The fee is £15.00 for up to 4 items.
