Council News - February/March 2014

DOUBLE PARKING ON BUS ROUTE – LOUTH ROAD, SILVER STREET AND PINFOLD LANE It has become apparent that some drivers are double parking on the main bus route in the village causing disruption to the bus services and the safety of its passengers.  Recently the Lincolnshire Police were called for assistance to arrange for a car to be moved so that the bus could continue its journey to Louth.

PLEASE RESPECT OTHER ROAD USERS WHEN PARKING.

DOG FOULING – INFORMATION  Dog faeces may contain parvovirus, whipworms, hookworms, roundworms, threadworms, campylobacteriosis, giardia, and coccidia.  If left unattended, these parasites will contaminate the water, soil, and can even cause infection in both pets and humans (especially children).  The microscopic Hookworm larvae can be passed to another pet or person directly through the skin or by accidental ingestion as can other bacteria.

PLEASE PUT A STOP TO DOG FOULING OF OUR VILLAGE STREETS AND OPEN SPACES.
