HOUSE ALARMS – House alarms are a great way of deterring criminals and also alerting neighbours to a problem.  False alarms have been heard recently around the village.  For those that have a house alarm is it due for a review?  Valuable information on house alarms ‘sent to the Parish Council by a resident’ are placed on the 3 Notice Boards and a copy held in the Council Offices on Pinfold Lane.

NEW CLIMBING FRAME There is a new wooden climbing frame play equipment in the Junior Playing Field purchased via successful Big Lottery ‘Awards for All’ funding of £10,000.

DOG FOULING – OFFENCES FIXED PENALTY NOTICE £75.00                            ELDC will do all it can to catch those people who don’t clear up after their pets, but need your help in this by reporting offenders.    

REPORTING DOG FOULING – Anyone who witnesses dog fouling is requested to  report it to the ELDC on 01507 601111 and ask for Dog Warden or text DOG to 07781481328. 

AMENITY GRASS CUTTING -                                                                                     Next cut and strim – week commencing 4th, 11th and 18th August 2014.

GRASS VERGES - Car owners/drivers are requested not to park on the grass verges but to use their driveways whenever possible or on the road. 

DATE OF NEXT FULL COUNCIL MEETINGS – 7.00 PM

The next two Full Council meetings will be Monday 15th September 2014 and 20th October 2014.  There is no meeting in August due to August recess. Parishioners are welcome to attend all Council and committee meetings.

LINCOLNSHIRECOUNTY COUNCIL (LCC)

NEW 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT – LOUTH ROAD Parishioners are reminded of the new speed limit being reduced from 40 mph to 30 mph at both Louth Road entrances into the village.  The speed limit of 30 mph is now the whole length of Louth Road.  

WEED SPRAYING – The second cycle of the village weed spraying is due to be completed at the end of July and the Parish Council will be monitoring the contract.     

EAST LINDSEY DISTRICT COUNCIL (ELDC)

EAST LINDSEY DISTRICT COUNCIL – MONTHLY FACILITIES DAY

A District Council Customer Services representative visits Holton-le-Clay on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.  The dates of the forthcoming ELDC Facilities Day are Wednesday 13th August 2014 and 10th September 2014                                                     9.00 am-1.00 pm and 2.00 pm-4.00 pm. 

LINCOLNSHIRE COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTARY SERVICE

The same day as the ELDC Customer Services monthly Facilities Day between 10.00am and midday.  For support within the voluntary sector with funding and how to thrive as a voluntary organisation.

ELDC WARD COUNCILLORS SURGERY – 3rd WEDNESDAY 

The two Holton-le-Clay Ward councillors hold a surgery.  Why not take the opportunity to meet your District Councillors?  The dates of your local ELDC Councillors’ surgery at the Parish Offices are
