PARISH COUNCIL CARER CHAMPION – MRS BETTY GASH

As a Parish Carer Champion the Parish Clerk, on behalf of the Lincolnshire Carers Partnership, would like to identify carers in Holton-le-Clay to enable information to be passed to them that they may find useful in their caring role. I.e. Carers Information Folder (potential questions, telephone contact points and regular newsletters).  Any carer who would like to receive the information please contact the Parish Clerk on 01472 825467 or 07854619393.

ETHERINGTON ARMS – NEW NAME

The hunt is on for a name for the new community building in the village, formerly the Etherington Arms PH.  Suggestions already received are to keep the original name, change to a connection with the Airfield, historic name or for simplicity the Village Hall.  This is the opportunity for the members of the public to have their say on a new name for the former Etherington Arms.  It is hoped the building will be up and running in 12 to 18 months once funding is secured to renovate and refurbish the building. Suggested names to the Council Offices by no later than 15 October 2010.

HLC YOUTH GROUP

This is a reminder to parents/guardians that a consent form must be completed for all children/young people who attend the Youth Club.  A new website has been set up at www.hlcyc.org.uk/.  The recent trip to the Skegness XSite Skate Park was a great success.
