Broadband - Better Provision for Legbourne
Legbourne Ward has been selected to be included in a pilot project by Lincolnshire County Council to supply faster broadband provision to the area. BT has commenced the improvement of Louth's Telephone Exchange by laying Fibre Optic Cable which will enable Broadband speeds of up to 20 meg, to be available, 10 times faster than currently received in Legbourne. However, this is only the hardware & the actual provision would come from Internet Service Providers.
In order for the project to go ahead residents need to register their interest by visiting www.onlincolnshire.org - this is vital as currently only 42 have registered & this will not be sufficient for Service Providers to be interested in providing a service.
Please help Legbourne get faster Broadband by registering on-line & showing Internet Service Providers that it will be worth their while bidding for the business thus enabling the project to continue.
