Annual Parish / Town Meetings

The Annual Parish Meeting is a meeting of the electorate and not a meeting of the Parish Council. It is an opportunity for electors to meet with the Council and hear about the achievements of the Council over the past year. This meeting of the electorate gives opportunity to all residents to raise issues and ask questions pertaining to the Town Council activities and functions. The Annual Parish Meeting is held every year between 1st March and 1st June. The Annual Parish/Town Meeting is usually held in Mablethorpe in May of each year, with an Informal Town Meeting held in Sutton on Sea in July. The Annual Town Meeting is an opportunity for electors and local residents to meet members of the Town Council and representatives of local groups in a more informal setting than a meeting of the Town Council. All residents are warmly invited to attend their Annual Town Meeting, both to hear about the work of the Town Council, its plans for the future, to receive details of upcoming events and to raise any areas of concern which could be addressed at a future meeting of the Town Council.
