Parish Council

Due to a Community Governance (Parish) Review in 2011, Metheringham Parish Council has abolished the Metheringham Fen Parish Ward Boundary, this is now incorporated within the Metheringham Village Ward.

The Parish Council has also increased in numbers from eleven members to thirteen members.  The duties of a Parish Councillor are varied, as the Council is responsible for many aspects of the village.  All Parish Councillors are unpaid volunteers working to improve the village.  The Council has a number of working groups, where members are involved in different activities, a full list can be found under the heading Committees and Working Groups.
