Central Lincolnshire Local Plan 2012-2036

On 24 April 2017, the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan was adopted.

‘Adoption’ means that the Local Plan has reached the final stage of approval and it now forms part of the Development Plan for the area and will be used by the relevant local Planning Authorities in making decisions on planning applications.

Prior to adoption, the Local Plan was subject to independent examination by a Planning Inspector from the Planning Inspectorate.  The Inspectors’ Report, including their recommendations, has been published by the CLJSPC on its website www.central-lincs.org.uk.

As required by the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, below are the details of where and when the following documents can be inspected:

·         The adopted version of the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan;

·         The Integrated Impact Assessment, incorporating the Sustainability Appraisal of the Local Plan;

·        The Sustainability Appraisal / Strategic Environmental Assessment Adoption Statement; and

·         The Inspectors’ Report.

You may also view these documents on the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan website using the link above.

 Central Lincolnshire Local Plan is being compiled by City of Lincoln Council, North Kesteven District Council and East Lindsey District Council.  The plan is being overseen by a Joint Committee established by Parliamentary Order in 2009.  This plan will replace the North Kesteven  Local Plan 2007.

Below are the comments submitted by Metheringham Parish Council on two of the consultations, the first in 2014 and the second in 2015.
