Little Green Book Winter 2018 Edition

The last edition of Little Green Book has been compiled and now published by a small group of dedicated villagers and is being distributed throughout the villages. It is a tribute in memory of Pete Ford who edited the last 70 editions and sadly and suddenly passed away in May 2018 just as the summer edition was due to be published. Many thanks to Neil Kendall and his team of willing volunteers who have tirelessly put together this magazine that Pete had started. In the future, we have sourced a local company who will edit, publish and distribute a new look newsletter. More details to follow as and when we have more information. Although we are trying to contact all our village distributors, we are aware that it has been some time since they have been contacted, so can you please bear with us and if you do not receive a Little Green Book there will be plenty in the Parish Council Offices and Library in Metheringham for you to pick up. It is a sad day that the Little Green Book is being put to bed for the last time, but I am sure Pete would be delighted that somebody is going to take up the reigns and run with this vital book of information. Thankyou once again to all those who have distributed, advertised, sent in articles and generally supported this newsletter. It has been a helpful source for many in Metheringham and the outlying villages for many years and the number of magazines being delivered is now over 3000. Over the years MACLA has donated to many worthy causes. Thankyou all once again for your continuing support. Sally Wilson Chairman
