Over recent months, a number of members at both County and District levels have asked how they can be better informed about Neighbourhood Panel meetings and Crime & Anti-Social Behaviour issues.Following discussion with the Chief Inspectors, they have asked that I write to you and provide the following two links;
Lincs Alert is a neighbourhood messaging system – you register your email and postcode, then the system ensures you are sent messages that are appropriate to you (and no Spam!). I am registered at home with my personal email address and home postcode, and also at work with the office postcode and LCC email.I get the same information that is passed out to Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators as well as updates on crime issues in the area and Neighbourhood Panel meeting dates.
Registering is very simple and I would encourage you to do so from here;
https://www.lincolnshirealert.co.uk/
Secondly, the CrimeMapper, where crime data and meeting dates for your area are shown;http://www.police.uk/
If you are happy to, I encourage you to include these links in any Newsletters or correspondence you have with communities across the County.Finally for those who Tweet or use FaceBook, the Police links are here;
http://twitter.com/lincspolice
and
I am happy to receive your feedback on the effectiveness of these systems and any observations you have about how we can keep you better informed.
Thank you for your support
This site is your site, so if you have any comments or feedback, please let us know.
The Parish Council meets in the village hall every month at 6.30 pm. The meetings always include an Open Session at which parishioners are welcome to raise topics of concern.
We are a body of elected or co-opted unpaid councilors with responsibility for the burial ground, the sports field, plus other local matters including applications for burials, reviewing planning applications, reporting of highway/footpath issues and street lighting problems.
For Details of the Individual Councilors and their roles please see the “Parish Councilors” page.
