Public Footpath 18 Stopping up/Diversion

POTENTIAL LOSS OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY at DONNA NOOK - Footpath 18 North Somercotes to Grainthorpe via Pye's Hall Sluice Bridge The Parish Council has received the DRAFT PUBLIC NOTICE below. The Parish Council vigorously objects to this stopping up for a number of reasons which are detailed in the response to the Planning Inspectorate.

POTENTIAL LOSS OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY at DONNA NOOK - Footpath 18 North Somercotes to Grainthorpe via Pye's Hall Sluice Bridge

Following the Inquiry which was held on 26 and 27 June 2018, the Parish Council would like to thank all those who have provided evidence to the Inquiry and those who were able to attend.  Copies of the Parish Council and Environment Agency closing statements are on the Parish Council website or available from the Clerk. The Inspector will now produce her report which will be sent to the Secretary of State, who called the inquiry. Once this has been received, the Secretary of State will then issue a decision letter, based on the Inspector's report and all the information that has been provided by all parties, along with a copy of the Inspector's report, to all parties at the same time.
