Welcome to Northorpe a small welcoming community North of Gainsborough in Lincolnshire. Northorpe is a beautiful thriving village steeped in medieval history and dates back to the time of the Doomsday Book. At the heart of the village is a stunning Church - St John the Baptist, which is where the newly reformed Parish Council holds their meetings. The village also boasts a large, fenced play area for children and families to enjoy lots of different equipment ranging from football nets to a zip wire. The Parish Council was reformed on 18th January and is extremely passionate about engaging with the village and the people who live in it. Each month a meeting is held at the Church of St John the Baptist. Northorpe Parish Council meet at 7pm once a month and village residents are welcome to attend. There is a public participation period before the meeting is opened where parishioners can speak.
