VACANCY FOR THE POSITION OF CLERK
3-5 hours per week including one evening meeting bi-monthly.
Applicants should have good communication skills, be computer literate (Word & Excel), be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in clerical duties & bookkeeping skills would be advantageous.
Salary is negotiable dependent on skills & experience.

PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS
If you would like to put yourself forward as a candidate for Parish Council elections in May you will need to obtain a nomination paper from Margaret Rowbotham on 01476585387 or from Julie Edwards at South Kesteven District Council on 01476 406078.
The Notice of Election takes place on Monday 23 March 2015. The closing date for nominations and the withdrawal of applications is Thursday 9 April 2015 at 4pm. Members are to hand deliver their nomination papers to SKDC Customer Services Department on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 8.45am and 5.15pm, Wednesday between 8.45am and 4.00pm and Friday between 8.45am and 4.45pm. This is with the exception of the Easter Break, 3-6 April 2015. Polling day is Thursday 7 May 2015.
The "Ropsley & District Parish Council" covers the electorial area of the village of Ropsley & the hamlets of Braceby, Great Humby, Little Humby & Sapperton.
The Ropsley & Humby Ward elects seven councillors & the Braceby & Sapperton Ward one.
