Welcome to Scotter Parish Council's website. We hope you find it interesting and of use.
Scotter Parish is made up of the rural villages of Scotter, Scotterthorpe and Susworth and is situated on the north-western boundary of Lincolnshire, between the towns of Gainsborough and Scunthorpe. It has a population of around 3200.

DRAFT LOCAL PLAN
The above Local Plan is now published and open to consultation until November the 14th 2014.
Policy LP2 on page 10 shows Scotter now in the
Policy LP39 describes the criteria for growth in Limited Growth Villages. There is considerable weight given to the need for community support for developments and to the need for developments to be sustainable.

ACCESSING AND COMMENTING ON THE PLAN
The consultation on the Preliminary Draft Local Plan will start on 1 October and end on 11 November 2014.

The following public consultation events will take place during the consultation period:
The Source, Sleaford – 23 October, 4-7pm
The Venue, Navenby – 29 October, 4-7pm
Guildhall, Gainsborough (council chamber) – 23 October, 4-7pm
Skellingthorpe Community Centre - 28 October, 4-7pm
Sturton by Stow Village Hall – 29 October, 4-7pm
Members of the public will be able to view the plan and ask questions at these events.
