Letter from West Lindsey District Council re Waste Collection:-

Scotter Parish Council was contacted last year about the changes we made to collection days and garden waste collection during the winter time.

Following on from these changes weare now consulting with all residents to ask for their views on when we should stop and resume garden waste collections during the winter of 2012.

With financial resources shrinking due to Government spending cuts, residentes were previously consulted on provision of this service.  80% of those consulted agreed that reducing green waste collections in the winter would be a good way of generating efficiences.

Therefore, could you please inform your Parish Councillors and local residents that this survey is now available on-line for people to express their views until Friday 18th May 2012.  Alternatively hard copies of this survey are available at WLDC offices should anyone not have computer access.

Anyone who has subscribed to an email alert via our website will have already received notification of this survey.

Antone can sign up for this email alert at

www.west-lindsey.gov.uk/emailalert
and will receive a number of email alerts on council news.  For all news items relating to waste and recycling then residents should choose to receive updates on the “Refuse and Recycling News page”
