Welcome to Scotter Parish Council's website.  We hope you find it interesting and of use.

Scotter Parish is made up of the rural villages of Scotter, Scotterthorpe and Susworth and is situated on the north-western boundary of Lincolnshire, between the towns of Gainsborough and Scunthorpe.  It has a population of around 3200.

Local development plan news

The new timetable, which is contained in a legally required document known as a Local Development Scheme (LDS), confirms that the next round of consultation will take place in Oct-Nov 2015 (precise dates to be confirmed), subject to the draft Local Plan being approved at Committee on 7 September, which is a public meeting. This draft Local Plan will include proposed sites for development, as well as wider planning policy matters.
