Meetings, Minutes & Agendas

 

Parish Council meetings are usually held on the third Monday of each month, with the exception of August, at Scotter Village Hall.  Meetings commence at 19.40hrs. Each meeting is preceded by a 10 minute public forum, commencing at 19.30hrs, during which members of the public may ask questions of the Council or make a short statement to the Council in relation to matters on the agenda.  Once the meeting formally commences, members of the public are most welcome to remain but may not speak.

 

The meeting dates for the financial year 2013/14 are as follows.   Please note that there is a change to the norm during April 2013.

The Planning Committee meets on the first and third Monday of each month, if required, at Scotter Village Hall.   Meetings usually commence at 19.10hrs.  These meetings are also preceded by a 10 minute public forum (usually commencing at 19.00hrs) to give parishioners the opportunity to ask questions of the Committee or make short statements to it in relation to planning applications on the agenda. Again, once the meeting formally commences, members of the public are most welcome to remain but may not speak.

The agenda for each meeting will be posted on Scotter notice board and on the relevant page of this website during the week prior to the meeting.   Paper copies of the Council meeting minutes, once approved, are placed on the notice board and in Scotter library.  Copies of the minutes of Council and Committee meetings are also held on the website (pages accessible below).
