Agenda For Forthcoming Parish Council Meeting

The next Sibsey Parish Council meeting will be on Tuesday 1st August 2017, being held at Northlands Village Hall, commencing at 7.15pm

Agenda of the Sibsey Parish Council meeting

The first agenda item will be under closed session prior to the Open Forum

1.             To consider any applications for Co-option to vacancies of Parish Councillors

To resolve to go into session in order for the Open Forum to commence and then the continuation of all agenda items

2.             To receive any Declarations of Interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, and to consider any applications for dispensations in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests

3.            Consider to adopt the new ELDC Code of Conduct

4.             Notes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Tuesday 6th June 2017 to be approved as the minutes

5.             Outside Bodies Report

To receive reports from District Councillor(s), County Councillor and Police – for information only. (Any items raised for decision will appear on the agenda of the next meeting).

7.             Financial Matters

a.             Financial Report as per summary (to be distributed to the councillors at the meeting

b.             To approve payments as per summary (to be distributed to the councillors at the meeting)

a.             Village Hall Reports

b.             Village Maintenance

For Parish Councillors to relate any maintenance that is required within the village

c.             Community Park/Amos Way Play Area

                                             i.            To discuss anything else that needs to be done/required within these areas

d.             Report on grass cutting contractor meeting

e.             Christmas Light Switch on event

f.              Report by Cllr Heath in regards to the Community Right to Bid nomination of The White Hart Public House, Main Road, Sibsey

g.             2017 Newsletter

                To resolve to continue with having a newsletter for the current year

9.            Planning

Since the last meeting the Parish Council were asked for their opinions which has been circulated in regards to the following:

a.             The Street naming and numbering of a new development comprising of 9 no. dwellings – Land rear to Sibsey House, Main Road, Sibsey

The follow planning application was perused by the Planning Forum in order for them to make their observations

b.             S/152/00608/17 – Outline erection of 10 no. dwellings (with means of access to be considered) in accordance with amended plans received by the Local Planning Authority on 6th July 2017 – Ivy House Farm, Main Road, Sibsey

c.             Report on any information received in regards to Planning Applications

d.             Core Strategy/Settlement Proposals Development Plan

No applications have been received prior to this notice but matters that may cause concern can be discussed by the Parish Councillors only but any items raised for decision will appear on the agenda of the next meeting

10.          Highway Matter

Any issues regarding Highways to be discussed by Parish Councillors only but any items raised for decision will appear on the agenda of the next meeting

11.          Correspondence

Comments and discussion on any correspondence received

12.          Any other matters for discussion by leave of Chairman

13.          Date of next Parish Council Meeting

The date of the next Sibsey Parish Council meeting as previously scheduled is Tuesday 5th September 2017 at Sibsey Village Hall
