The Book Club meets on the first Thursday on alternate months in the village hall at 7.45pm and the next meetings for this year are in October and December.   Membership is £10 per annum and books are supplied by the Lincolnshire Library Services free of charge.   Any enquiries to Mike or Ann Milchard on 01945 440391.

Sutton St James Womens' Group,
The Womens Group meet on the last Wednesday of each month. The meetings are held in the Church hall and start at 7.30 pm. Occasionally we will have a visit to local places of interest and some of these are in the afternoon. This is a very sociable group and is an excellent way of making friends and meeting people who may be new to the village.

Sutton St. James Walking Group
Walking is an opportunity to get to know the area and meet people. Sutton St. James Walking Group meet at 10.45am every Thursday at the Village Hall. Hoyles Field is a recreation field for use of the whole village anyone can go on there and play or picnic or this time of year it is a nice place to just sit and read.

If you are a rambler or enjoy walking and taking in the views of the countryside a booklet is available containing six maps of various walks around local towns within South Holland, Lincolnshire.
One of the maps included in the pack details two routes of the walk around Sutton St James. This takes in the views and places of historic interest of the village.
