NEW COMMUNITY BUILDING: The parish council, the playing fields committee and the football club have worked closely together to  complete the new community building project which will provide a new facility for the parish.

It is a welcome facility for the village and huge thanks goes to all of those involved in delivering the project.

Volunteers are always required to assist the Playing Field Committee and if you are interested please come forward everyone is welcome.

PLAY AREA - The council are in the process of enclosing the play area with a fence to secure and define the area. There are also plans to demolish the former bowls pavilion and enhance the area.

DOGS IN THE PARK - The council advise that there is a dog ban on the Glebe Field despite the removal by a third party of the No Dog signs. Dog fouling is very unpleasant and the football club regularly have to clear up faeces before the teams can play. The council kindly request the ban is adhered to in the interests in the health and safety of all users which include your children and grandchildren.
