Friends of St Andrew's Church

The Friends of St Andrew's Church is a Group which has been formed to support the fabric improvement programme for the church. This page summarises the latest news and events of the Group. If you would like to join, please complete the 'expression of interest' data privacy form below.

The design plans for our proposed new toilet/servery in the church were rolled out in October 2018 as part of a programme of restoration and improvement. As part of the roll-out, the PCC initiated a Friend’s Group for the project. Almost 100 people in the village have completed our 'expression of interest' form and many have pledged donations to the project. Thank you for your amazing generosity. This has enabled the PCC to agree terms for a preferred contractor, approval of a faculty. Applications are well underway for grant funding. A key feature of a successful grant application will be community involvement so we need your continued support! To find out more, please read our latest Newsletter attached below.

The attached documents summarise the latest information:

Thank you to Glenn & Graham for hosting the ‘Molecey Mill at Christmas’ event on Saturday, 14th December. It was a great success and enjoyed by more than 300 guests who enjoyed seeing the house decorated for Christmas, the traditional festive music and seeing the waterwheel turn. More than £1,500 was raised towards the Church toilet/servery project.
