Harvest Festival - September 2019

Photos of the congregation, donations and the flower arrangements are attached.

Thank you to all those who came to celebrate Harvest at our All Age Service on Sunday 22nd September. The church smelled amazingly fragrant with the beautiful flowers so lovingly arranged by those from our congregation. The service was led by Reverend Stewart Shaw, Padre RAF Wittering and, with the aid of a seed sower explained how 'one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully'. Andy and Katie McCormack, and Jules Morgan played keyboard, violin and guitar leading us in our favourite harvest songs including 'We Plough the Fields with Tractors' and - the children's favourite - 'All Things Bright and Beautiful'. Generous food donations and our collection will be given to Deepings Foodbank.

Thank you too to all those who supported the Afternoon Harvest Tea on Saturday 21st September. Proceeds from the raffle and the cake stall will contribute to our church toilet/servery project.
