We hope you find it interesting and of use.
Willingham is situated on the B1241 six miles south-east of Gainsborough and twelve miles north-west of Lincoln, with a regular bus service in both directions. Willingham is a small rural village with about 220 households and a population of around 500. It has an active village hall, two thriving pubs, and a busy surgery and dispensary.
Willingham is within the West Lindsey District Council area and the wider area of Lincolnshire County Council.
Information on the parish and on the services provided by the Parish Council can be found via the menu on the left hand side of this page. A newsletter is published approximately twice a year and delivered free to every household.

HOT NEWS!
Roy Oliver (pictured here with his wife Frances) was surprised and delighted to receive the CITIZEN OF THE YEAR 2010 award from the Chairman of Lincolnshire County Council at a ceremony in the Council Chamber on 14th May 2010.
He was nominated by the Parish Council for the role he has played in village life over the 36 years that he has lived in Willingham.
For over 25 of these years he has run a Table Tennis club in the Village Hall, encouraging a great number of both youngsters and adults to engage in this sport. For many years now Roy has also been the Caretaker of the Village Hall. Nothing is ever too much trouble and he can always be relied on to be there to turn the heating on when needed, make sure everything is ship-shape and check things over after an event.
In addition Roy gives many hours of his time to help people in need within the village, withoug seeking any recognition for his efforts. He can always been counted on to support people who are having a difficult time.
Without people like Roy the village would be a poorer place. Our hearty congratulations go to him - we are delighted that he has been recognised as Lincolnshire's Citizen of the Year.
