November 2015


Highways will be re-waterproofing the bridge starting January 2016 for approx 8-10 weeks.

The works are needed to protect the bridge and maintain it's integrity and durability for the future. 

A short term (1-2 days)  temporary closure will be required on 18th February 2016 to complete the surfacing. Diversion route signs will be in place.

A map of the diversion route and full details will be displayed on the Parish Councils Notice Board (High St)

Invitation to tender for the grass-keeping on the parish fields

Willingham Parish Council would like to invite tenders (Willingham residents only) for 2 adjacent fields on Stonepit Lane, at the junction with Fillingham Road (grid no. SK 883 844) The fields are suitable for grazing a small number of animals or for providing grass for hay. 

 The period for the use of these fields is limited to 9 months each year, from 1st  April to 31stDecember 2015

 Tender forms and the Agreement document showing details of the conditions of use are available on the parish council’s website

 The parish council are offering the successful applicant the possibility to have the grazing rights for a second consecutive year, after which the tendering process will be undertaken again.

 The completed tender form should be submitted to the Clerk no later than Monday 9thMarch. 

The person who has submitted the successful bid will be notified after the parish council meeting -10th March.

 - Please make locals aware there are various vans of different number plates acting suspiciously in the area.  Have been seen on properties in and around Kexby and surrounding.  Please ask people to sign up to Neighbourhood Watch (Lincolnshire Alert)     a community messaging system run by Lincolnshire Police.
