At the meeting of the Parish Council held 19th September 2017 a representative from NHS (United Lincolnshire Hospital Trust) attended and sought the views of the 21 members of the public present on current health services and where there could be improvements.

Members also discussed the new parish website (link below), the need to recruit new councillors and the planning application for the alterations to provide 2 bedrooms at Ashtree House Residential Home.

Cllr Key also stepped down as Council Chairman and at the end of the meeting tendered his formal resignation as Parish Councillor after some 20 years.  The Clerk also advised the council of her intention to resign but agreed to remain until either a new Clerk appointed or the end of December.

The next meeting is scheduled for 31st October 7pm in the Village Hall

This means there will shortly be 4 vacancies on the parish council for council members and 1 vacancy for a parish clerk.  If anyone is interested please contact the current clerk on withernpc@talktalk.net
