Parish Council

Chairman: Mr Kevin Pinner

I am married, with three children.  My reasons for becoming a Parish Councillor are after being introduced to the idea of joining the parish council by a member at a time when the council was short of candidates, I became aware of the need for a council to be in place to aid the village to have a ‘voice’ in the community.  My aim since joining in September 1995 has been to help where and when I can.  During the time I have served as a councillor, I have also gone on to become a member and consequently chairman of the ‘Benington Relief in Need’ Charity and also a member of the ‘Benington Community Heritage Trust’.  I was appointed Chairman of Benington Parish Council in May 2001 an appointment I still hold today.

Graham John Gostelow

John Grant

My family's home is in neighbouring Leverton, but I now live on David's Lane and also work in Benington.  For these reasons I have a keen interest in the issues facing the village and surrounding area.  I have various interests including classic cars, playing the piano and wood turning.
