A new Local Plan is being prepared by South Kesteven which sets out how the district will develop both in size and location up to 2036.  As part of the preparations SK are seeking residents views on the Sites & Settlements which concludes on Friday 5th August.  The topics covered are future of housing requirements, thoughts on a spatial strategy for the new plan, proposed settlement hierachy and possible site options.  For more information please click below.        22.07.16

South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) are responsible for residential planning applications within the area, with Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) responsible for approving or rejecting commercial applications such as sand and gravel extraction at Baston or Langtoft and Household Waste recycling station at Bourne.

The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) and The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) have come together and produced booklets to help give a better understanding and advice on planning issues.
