Village Hall

Carlton Le Moorland Village Hall

Over the last year, the Parish Council has been seeking the views of residents about the future of the Village Hall as part of an Awards for All grant received to deliver a 'Sustaining and Enhancing our Community activity' . This information will now be used to inform a further National Lottery application to seek funding to redevelop the village hall to improve the existing facilities.

In order to achieve these plans for the hall, funding in the region of £600,000 will be required through grants and local fundraising. A committee of residents and councillors has been formed to start the fundraising process and we would like your support! If you would like to join the committee, offer your expertise with any aspect of the development or just support our events............we would like to hear from you or see you at one of our fundraising events!

At the beginning of September 2016, over £11,000 has been raised by our community!!

All details of the fundraising events are in the Witham Staple or on the Church Street noticeboard:

Coffee Mornings usually take place on the 1st Saturday of the month.

Other events that have recently taken place:

There was a Quiz evening on 12th March 2016 which raised over £250.

The Garden Party which took place in the Old Vicarage on Sunday 26th June 2016 brought over £1500 into the funds.
