There have been flower and produce shows over the years in Carlton Le Moorland, which were organised by the Gardening Club and more latterly by a Committee of volunteers from the village.

In recent years a 'Spring' show has been held in March/April for local residents and those from the surrounding area to enter.

A number of classes are advertised from flowers and flower arranging to handicrafts, photography to cookery. There are classes suitable for all ages and abilities.

The 2017 show was held on Saturday 25th March 2017 with entries accepted up to 10.30am on the day. Once the judging had been completed, the hall was opened from 2.30pm in the afternoon for viewing. There was an Afternoon Tea, a tombola, together with a range of stalls selling crafts, cards, plants and other items. Entries were high last year, and it was great day with many visitors who came along and enjoyed a traditional Afternoon Tea and village show!
The show is non-profit making and all proceeds are ploughed back into the organisation for the following year. The last three years were an exception in that the Spring Show Committee have gone the extra mile on fundraising to help our hall and its improvements!

The Spring Show Committee showed their support in 2017 by raising £375 towards the Village Hall development fund.
Thanks to all who continue to support the event and contribute in whatever way.
Looking forward to seeing you at the event this get an idea on what classes you can enter please look at the 2017 schedule of items!!
