Gainsborough Town Council

You can still contact us via e mail – townclerk@gainsborough-tc.gov.uk

or call us on 01427 811573

(Mon – Fri 9am – 3pm, excluding bank holidays)

We are working with a reduced number of grounds staff so please bear with us if we cannot cut the grass around the town as quickly as usual. We are still maintaining play areas, parks, cemeteries and sports grounds in Gainsborough.

In line with Government restrictions on large gatherings Gainsborough Town Council is unable to conduct its Council meetings in the usual manner. While the Government’s strict ‘lockdown’ measures are in place any Council meetings that must take place will most likely be done remotely and online. Details about any such meetings will be publicised in the usual way.

Marshall Sports Ground Booking Arrangements

Users of the site and its facilities must complete the temporary booking form. The form is available on the Marshalls Sports Ground tab to the left of this webpage along with other information.

At this time, all prospective bookings for Marshalls Sports Ground will be considered upon application.

Along with the temporary booking form, users must submit an appropriate Risk Assessment.

Because of the increased frequency of cleansing required to ensure public safety some of the facilities may not be opened at this time. It is advisable that all users enquire as to the current situation when booking.
