Levellings Park Consultation 2020

Introduction to the Consultation for Levelling’s Park, Gainsborough

Dear Resident/Business owner,

Gainsborough Town Council, in partnership with Magda Read Associates (MRA), are exploring the possible improvements to the Sir Hickman Beckett Bacon Memorial Park also known as Levelling’s Park situated between Ropery Road, Love Lane and Alfred Street, Gainsborough. The purpose of this exercise is to establish the requirement of the community.

You are invited to take part in a consultation exercise regarding the potential improvement of the facilities at the park.

This consultation and the suggestions made are not binding on the council in terms of their execution. The Town Council will try to cater for the needs of the community as best as feasible over a certain period of time, subject to the availability of funding.

This consultation is in line with the Council’s drive to improve local amenities and the livelihood of the communities through regeneration.

As the primary beneficiaries are residents, communities and businesses in the vicinity, the Town Council would like you to have a say in what facilities and activities you would like in the park and how the appearance and amenities could be improved for the benefit of the community.

Please refer to the attached drawing Nos. LP004 Rev B Option 1 and Option 2 which illustrate the scope of the facilities that could be achieved but is not limited to this. Further more detailed information can be gained from reviewing References A to G included on this webpage.
