DAME MARGARET THOROLD'S APPRENTICING CHARITY (Charity No. 527628)

This charity exists to support the education and training of young people in Marston, Sedgebrook and Cranwell.  Support is provided in the form of monetary grants.

Any young person living in Marston who is taking part in an apprenticeship or a college course may apply.

DAME MARGARET THOROLD EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION (Charity No. 527666)

The area of benefit for this charity is Marston, Sedgebrook and Syston and the principal beneficiaries are the schools in the area, including Marston School.  The charity also supports individual children in secondary education who live in the area of benefit, or who have previously attended one of the primary schools in the area of benefit.  Support is provided in the form of monetary grants.

This charity is more correctly termed Poors' Close.  (Charity No. 256417)

It exists to help old people in Marston.

The village trustees are Mrs. Jennifer Hare and Mrs. Val Morrell.

GRANTHAM YOUNG FARMERS' 1977 SILVER JUBILEE CHARITY FUND (Charity No. 507706)

This charity exists to support the education and training of young people in the agricultural community.  Support is provided in the form of monetary grants.  Applicants must live in North or South Kesteven.

Any young person working in agriculture, or from a farming background, or who is a member of a Young Farmers' Club may apply.
