VACANCY - ASSISTANT CLERK

Nettleham Parish Council invites applications from suitably experienced persons for the position of Assistant Clerk - for 18 hours per week.

Minimum of 18 hours per week

 Salary £18,065 - £20,344 per annum (pro rata)

Working as part of a small and dedicated team, a flexible approach is essential as occasional attendance at evening meetings is required.  You will be highly organised and committed to delivering excellent customer service to the residents of Nettleham.  The responsibilities associated with this role include: liaising with hirers and taking bookings for the council premises, general administration, supporting the Parish Clerk in delivery of the council’s functions with preparation for and attendance at meetings, writing minutes, maintaining records, and ensuring that all legal requirements are complied with.


The successful candidate will have experience of working in a customer facing role, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  They will also be competent in using computer packages such as word and excel and social media.
