Quality parish council2004 - The Parish Council is the first Council in Lincolnshire to be awarded the Quality Council Status under the Government scheme for Town/Parish Councils. This enables the Parish Council to negotiate delegated responsibilities from the principal authority and possibly funding for projects it has in hand. This is a very valuable qualification to achieve which is only given on the grounds of qualifications of its Clerk, efficiency and performance of the Council in relation to its duties.

National association of local councils2004 - Nettleham Parish Council was placed second in this National competition in relation to its publication of 'Nettleham News' which is circulated throughout the village and compiled and edited by Mr Nigel Kingston, who is a resident in the village. The Parish Council is very proud of having achieved these two awards.

National association of local councils2004 - Nettleham Parish Council web site has been adjudged the fifth best in a competition arranged by the National Association of Local Councils affecting all Parish/Town Councils throughout England and Wales.

Best Kept Village Competition

Nettleham competes in the Best Kept Village Competition in the section for large villages and small towns with populations of between 2001-7000 residents. Nettleham has won this section on seven occasions in the past.
