The Parish of North Kelsey is situated in the District of West Lindsey in the County of Lincolnshire.

It is a rural community consisting of North Kelsey, Kelsey Carrs, North Kelsey Moor and a few surrounding farms.

The Parish is located between the market towns of Market Rasen, Brigg and Caistor.

Grimsby and Scunthorpe are the nearest larger towns, both being about 15 miles away.

The Parish has an electoral roll of 811.

North Kelsey is fortunate in having a very successful Primary School, a good local pub (The Butchers Arms), an active Village Hall, a Church, a Chapel/cemetery (which the Parish Council is responsible for) and a local shop.

It is only 6 miles to Caistor where there are shops, including the Co-op supermarket, a post office, butchers, newsagents, hairdressers, cafes, take-a-ways and restaurants. Caistor has the well known Grammar School and a Secondary School. A wider choice of shops and other facilities are available in Market Rasen and Brigg.
